Rustic Country Wedding Venue - Ravensdale, WA

What a love filled day these two had! Heather and Shane had a very beautiful wedding at one of my top favorite wedding venues in Washington. Rein Fire Ranch! A cozy, rustic barn with plenty of room to host some of the largest weddings around. It’s always fun photographing here because the owners are constantly updating and improving the venue some way or another. According to recent post on their Instagram page they’re training their mule to be a mobile bar for weddings… How freaking cool is that?! Sign me up for the next wedding at that venue!

On their wedding day Heather and Shane enjoyed their morning getting ready with family and friends in the barns bride and groom’s rooms. Soon after they met each other for their first look outside while the weather was still good. The weather that day was heavily overcast and looked like it was going to down pour rain at any moment. We lucked out and managed to do most of their photos on the outside grounds of the wedding venue. Along with staying dry they also managed to get photos with their four legged bestie, Chip the Border Collie. Heather has trained this pup to do some very amazing things in agility courses and more. Walking down the aisle as the “best dog” was one :)

After the ceremony they enjoyed their reception with pizza from Frankie’s Pizza for dinner! They followed that up with a first dance with each other and their parents. Toasts from their friends and family. From there they joined everyone in to dance the night away and even take a few moments in the evening to grab a few more photos together around the venue until all the light had gone. It was simply a wonderful day and I was honored to be there to capture it. Thanks again for having me Heather and Shane!
